The trip was perfect. It rained less than an hour all week and the sun shined every day. The hotels were great(although they might not feel the same about us) and so was the food. Our driver, Charles, was on top of everything and took care of us perfectly. Although there was some worry about the caddies showing up each day. it was Charles and Malcolm who did the worrying, not us. Scotland and the golf courses exceeded our expectations. Turnberry and Kingsbarns must be among the most beautiful courses on earth. Some personal notes, I was so in awe of the Old Course I could hardly take the club back and now I can't imagine why I waited so long to go there. I shot 75, by three shots the best round of my life, and I'm still having trouble believing it. The Williamsons originate (as far back as we can tell) from Kirkcaldy, so maybe ghosts in the area helped me out. Truly, nothing went wrong, unless you count the odd hangover, some handicap haggling, and a few unnecessarily inflated (by our behavior, not the prices) bar bills. Without question, this was the best golf trip I've ever been on. Thanks for your help.
